Why you should consider investing in a Hayward Hydrapure

Share

The Hydrapure system is an advanced oxidation process that combines the germ-killing properties of UV with the shock power of ozone to form hydroxyl radicals that destroy 99.9% of chlorine-resistant microorganisms.

But what does this mean?

As the water moves through the Hydrapure system it passes through a chamber where ozone molecules are generated.  The ozonated water then moves through further to reach the UV light which then treats it to produce the hydroxyl radicals.  The hydroxyl radicals, which are harmless to bathers, will destroy oils, perspiration, and bacteria.  Leaving the pool clean and clear!

A Hydrapure system is an all-in-one design that is easy to maintain.  It provides superior water quality using a process that removes harmful bacteria and other contaminants in your swimming pool in combination with Ozone and UV.

The Hydrapure will reduce the amount of chemicals you require in the pool to maintain your water at healthy levels.  As this system uses less chemicals, it is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional sanitizers.  It is designed to work in combination with lower chlorine levels, although you will still require some chlorine in the pool.

It is a long-lasting system that can provide many seasons of trouble-free operation.  Coming with a 3-year limited warranty, and a 1-year warranty for the UV and O3 lamps when purchased from R&R Pools.

The Hydrapure system can run at lower rpm speeds which makes it an ideal partner to your Variable Speed Pump.

In general, the Hydrapure system is an asset for pool owners who want to reduce the need for chemicals while maintaining a healthy environment for bathers.  Although the initial investment may be higher than traditional sanitization methods, the benefits make it a valuable piece of equipment for many seasons to come.

What chemicals are required for the HydraPure system

      Hi Vivian, Great question!

All chemicals remain the same, however the use of chlorine or bromine will be reduced as the Hydrapure UV and Ozone alleviates a lot of contaminates.
