Spring has officially arrived! The days are getting longer, Easter is right around the corner, and that can only mean one thing… the season we’ve all been waiting for is almost here: POOL OPENING SEASON!
Our inside team has already been hard at work preparing for the rush of spring, stocking shelves, organizing supplies, and making sure we have everything ready for a smooth start. Meanwhile, our outside team is getting ready to begin their annual refresher training. These courses ensure every technician is fully prepared, up to date, and ready to help you get your swimming pool opened safely, efficiently, and in perfect condition. We’re gearing up so that when the weather cooperates, you’ll be more than ready for that first cannonball of the year!
Why You Should Open Early
We always recommend opening your pool early. Not only does it mean you’re ready to enjoy your pool once the warm weather hits, but it also helps you get ahead of potential water problems. When pools remain covered too long, the water can warm up underneath the cover — the perfect environment for algae. Running the pump for a few extra weeks is far more cost-effective than the chemicals and labour needed to treat an algae bloom or clear a cloudy pool.
