Clear Water Starts with the Right Test

Bring your water sample to R&R Pools for professional, in-store water testing and clear, practical advice you can trust.

We do not just hand you numbers. We help you understand exactly what your water needs and what to do next.

Our testing is built around the systems and chemical lines we carry, with a strong focus on BioGuard products. That means your results are aligned with products we trust, so your water care is simple, consistent, and effective.

How It Works

Step 1
Bring your sample in a clean water bottle. It must be no more than 4 hours old.

Step 2
Choose what works best for you:

• Wait in store while we test your water and walk you through the results
• Season Pass holders can drop off their sample in store
• Season Pass holders can also use our outdoor water sample drop box located in the front lockers

Step 3
Get clear recommendations based on your results and the BioGuard system

For drop-off samples, results will be emailed. Please allow up to 24 business hours.

Important Sample Guidelines

Accurate testing starts with a proper sample. Please review before bringing your water in.

• Use a clean water bottle only
• Do not use containers that previously held pickles, juice, chemicals, milk, or alcohol
• Samples left in a hot car are not valid
• Pools must be circulating for at least 48 hours before testing
• We do not provide results when sanitizer levels are above 8 ppm, as readings may not be accurate

FAQ

How long does water testing take?

Most in-store tests are completed while you wait. Typically, this means 5-15 minutes depending on how busy the store is. Drop-off samples for Season Pass holders are emailed within 24 business hours.

Do I need an appointment?

No appointment is needed. Simply bring your sample during store hours. Water testing stops 30 minutes prior to closing.

Can I drop off a sample without waiting?

Yes, but drop-off services and emailed results are available to Season Pass holders only.

What happens if my chlorine is too high?

If sanitizer levels are above 8 ppm, results may not be accurate and we will not provide a full test. You may be asked to return once levels drop.

Why can’t I use any container?

Residue from food or chemicals can alter your results. A clean water bottle ensures accuracy.  Even with washing / sanitizing a container it may still be contaminated.

Why does circulation matter before testing?

Water needs to be fully circulated for at least 48 hours to ensure the sample reflects the true condition of your pool.  Make sure your return jets are in the correct position for circulation, which is down and at a 45 degree angle.
