Online Store Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions govern the sale of products by R&R Pools. By submitting your order to www.rrppools.ca you have indicated your acceptance to be bound by these terms and conditions of sale. At the sole discretion of R&R Pools these terms and conditions may be changed without prior notice at any time R&R Pools accepts your order.
Payment is due by credit card or PayPal at checkout. Once an order is placed by credit card, the credit card account will be verified at the time the order is placed. Should a credit card be declined, so will be the order. No C.O.D. orders are accepted. Orders are processed ONLY upon receipt of payment.
Disclaimer of Warranty
When products are shipped to you, their warranties determined on a per product basis are in effect and are typically included with the shipment (other than those warranties implied by and incapable of exclusion, restriction or modification under applicable law).
Availability of Product
R&R Pools reserves the right to cancel or change an order if there is an issue re product availability. In the case of a changed order, R&R Pools will contact the customer and the customer will have the opportunity to cancel the order.
These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted under and governed by the federal laws of Canada, without giving effect to conflicts of law rules. Headings used in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience of reference only and are not intended to be part of, or to affect the meaning or interpretation of, these Terms and Conditions.
Product Appearance and Imagery Online
Manufacturers may, from time to time, alter the appearance, packaging or part(s) included with a particular product supplied without prior written notice to R&R Pools. R&R Pools is not responsible for differences in products in these such events.
Prices shown on the R&R Pools site are in Canadian dollars and do not include shipping and handling, applicable taxes or insurance, unless otherwise stated. The price charged for an order will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed.
In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information from our suppliers, R&R Pools shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. R&R Pools shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such order whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has been already charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, R&R Pools shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
Limitation of Liability and Warranty
The maximum liability to you for products purchased from R&R Pools shall be limited to the purchase price you have paid for the products. R&R Pools itself does not provide any warranty on products purchased on our online store. For warranty information on your product please contact the product manufacturer.
Purchaser assumes responsibility for shipping charges, damage during transit and risk of loss if the product is returned to R&R Pools. In addition, R&R Pools will not be liable for any property damage, personal injury, loss of use, interruption of business, loss of profits, incurred labour charges, incurred water or material charges or other consequential, indirect, incidental, punitive or special damages. This applies to all situations however caused, whether for breach of warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, other than those damages that are incapable of limitation, exclusion or restriction under applicable law.
R&R Pools ships to Nova Scotia (province-wide) and to Fredericton, Moncton or St. John, New Brunswick.
Please be advised that all deliveries are curbside delivery only. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
Shipping & Risks during Shipping
When products are shipped to you by common carrier, R&R Pools’ liability to you for breakage and/or non-delivery of the products by the common carrier to you will be restricted by the limits of liability provided by the common carrier’s Terms and Conditions of Carriage. Shipping fees are non-refundable. R&R Pools highly recommends that if you need to return a product you purchase shipping insurance. All return shipping costs are prepaid by the purchaser.

Free standard shipping is available on most orders being delivered in Nova Scotia, or to Fredericton, Moncton or St. John New Brunswick with a subtotal or $199.00 or greater, before applicable taxes.
*3-5 Business Day Local Delivery within Halifax Regional Municipality or Chester Terms
Orders placed with 3 business day local delivery Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) before 2:00PM AST will be delivered by R&R Pools within 3-5 business days, pending credit card authorization and verification.
Orders placed with 3-5 business day local delivery on Friday after 2:00PM AST, or on weekends and holidays, will arrive within the next 3-5 business days.
R&R Pools only provides local delivery to certain postal codes within HRM and Chester (along our regular service routes). This option will only be available upon checkout to customers residing in those areas.
All pre-season pool chemical orders will be delivered at the time of your pool opening with us, or in late April/early May if you are self-opening.
R&R Pools focus is to provide you with the very best products, but we do understand there are some circumstances where a returned purchase is necessary and we would like to make this process as easy and convenient as possible.
If you feel that you are not satisfied with your purchase or need to return a damaged item, please follow the claim instructions below and one of our customer service representatives will be glad to assist.
All returns are accepted with the conditions below:
The following parts/ items are non returnable - Hot tub/ Spa packs, control panels, Circuit boards, topside control panels, Electrical items such as heater elements, breakers, GFCI panels, Pressure switches and sensors for both pool and hot tub use. These parts are only returnable is faulty and covered by warranty – All warranty returns will be tested before refunded.
*Pool and Hot tub accessories can be returned and do not incur a restocking fee if returned in original condition, unused and in original packaging. If they are returned used or without original packaging, a 10% fee will be applied. Used or opened filter cartridges can not be returned for hygiene reasons!
*Hot tub pumps, bromine generators, salt generators, bromine and salt cell replacements, and pool pumps will have a 15% restocking fee to cover packaging and handling.
All other items returned will incur a 10% restocking fee to cover costs. All costs for returned items are to be borne by the customer.
*Please note, once a pump, heater or plumbing part including filter cartridges have been used they can only be returned if faulty!
*All pool kit sales are final. In the event of damaged on delivery or warranty claims please contact us and we will arrange replacement parts. Please ensure all pool kits are inspected before accepting delivery.
All Items Listed, Described and/or Sold as “Open Box” are Final Sale *(unless missing parts or defective)
**Custom made Covers are non-returnable unless they have a manufacturers fault**
Merchandise Return Procedure
Most (new and unopened) items may be returned for any reason within 2 weeks for a complete refund of the purchase price of the product and sales tax, if applicable. Please note, all products require a 20% restocking fee that will be charged to your credit card upon return. Liners have a 40% restocking fee.
For liability reasons we do not accepts returns on chemicals. They are final sale.
To Start a Return, Lost or Damaged Item Claim:
Start your return process by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your request. You must receive a RGA to return any product to us. We do not issue prepaid return labels. All returns must be in their original carton with all packing material intact fully resalable. All returns must be sent freight prepaid by the customer and insured. We will refuse any packages sent COD.
Email email@example.com and include the following:
- Order Number
- Name of product that arrived damaged or needs to be returned
- The reason you wish to return the product
- Pictures to prove its condition and quality for our records and insurance purposes
* We do not accept returns to our physical store
* Please note – Shipping costs are not covered under warranty *
An RGA will be emailed to you if applicable less the 20% restocking fee.
Once the product is receive it will be inspected and deemed returnable or if damaged, assessed for warranty. Please allow up to 10 business days from the date you return your package for your claim to be inspected, assessed and if applicable, your credit issued less the restocking fee.
Delivery: Lost or Damaged Shipments or Missing Parts
R&R Pools’ liability to you for breakage and/or non-delivery of the products by the common carrier to you will be limited by the limits of liability provided by the common carrier’s terms and conditions of carriage.
Fully inspect all deliveries upon receipt. If you do not contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 3 days of receipt of the item to let us know about shipping damage, we will not be able to help you.
Write down any visible damage such as box crushed, torn, creased and other circumstances about the delivery. If you find concealed damage, save the carton and packaging material.
Email us at email@example.com immediately with the information above.
In the case that your order is damaged or lost, please note that the carrier is liable and all claims must be filed directly with the carrier.
Order Cancellations & Changes
For the benefit of our customers, we attempt to process orders as rapidly as possible. As such, orders may be shipped from our warehouse for fulfillment very soon after they are placed. Due to the increased difficulty of locating orders once they have begun the fulfillment process, we will not be able to make any order changes or cancellations once they have reached this stage of processing.
Please review orders very carefully prior to submission and, in the event that a cancellation is necessary, please contact us as soon as possible. This will increase the likelihood that we are able to cancel your order before it goes to the warehouse for fulfillment. Unfortunately, no guarantees can be made.
If an order is canceled once in transit, it is considered a return, and the customer is responsible for any applicable return shipping costs.
