With Halloween landing on a weekend this year, it’s the perfect opportunity to gather a few friends for a festive—and delightfully eerie—spa soak.
Set the Scene
Create a haunted pathway using battery-operated candles or solar lights to guide guests to the hot tub. Add playful Halloween props—hands, feet, or other “limbs” emerging from the ground—to enhance the eerie atmosphere.
For an extra glow around the yard, place glow sticks inside white, black, or orange balloons to make floating orbs that shimmer in the dark.
Hanging bats or spider webs from nearby trees will help complete the look and deepen the ambience.
Transform Your Spa
If your spa lighting is adjustable, set the lights to green and decorate the exterior to resemble a witch’s cauldron. Add floating accessories—like faux fingers, eyes, or spiders—for a touch of spooky fun. Finish the scene with brooms and witch hats arranged around the spa area.

Encourage your guests to choose hot-tub-friendly costumes—easy to change in and out of or simple enough to wear in the water. Remind them to avoid face paint and coloured hairspray, as heat and humidity can cause these products to run and may introduce unwanted residue into your spa.
