Operations & Service Management Co-Op (with Field Experience)

improvement—all while seeing firsthand how a successful service business runs, grows, and delivers value.
We’re looking for a driven Business Administration student who’s ready to learn, contribute, and grow through a unique blend of in-office and in-field experience.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Gain Real Operational Insight: Work directly with our management team and service crews to understand how day-to-day operations function—both in the office and out on job sites.
- Job Oversight & Quality Execution: Help manage service projects to completion— ensuring quality standards, timelines, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.
- SOP Development & Business Systems: Collaborate with team members to document and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal workflows based on your observations and staff interviews.
- Customer Experience Management: Participate in resolving customer concerns, maintaining communication and ensuring each interaction reflects our commitment to service excellence.
- Quoting to Cashflow: Learn the full customer cycle—from quoting and scheduling to invoicing and payment tracking—gaining insight into real-world business processes.
- Business Support Functions: Assist with administrative tasks such as internal
- communication, email and phone support, scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
- Fleet & Safety Coordination: Support vehicle maintenance tracking, safety meeting organization, and compliance across the service team.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently enrolled in a Business Administration or Commerce Co-Op program
- Interested in small business operations, service management, and systems development
- Excited by the opportunity to work in both office and field environments
- Organized, proactive, and eager to make meaningful contributions
- A confident communicator, both in writing and in person
- Skilled with Microsoft Excel and Word (bonus for experience with CRM systems or scheduling software)
- A quick learner who thrives in dynamic environments
- Able to drive a cargo van and have a clean driver’s record
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs on occasion
- Comfortable standing, sitting, walking, crouching, or climbing when needed in the field
COMPENSATION:
- Competitive compensation at $21/hour

- Term: Minimum 16 weeks, 40 hours/week
