Position Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely and accurate job service, quoting, scheduling, training, and follow-up
  • Manage, schedule, and dispatch service maintenance team daily
  • Ensure quick and efficient team dispatch each morning
  • Support the service teams daily activities
  • Maintain a positive, energetic team with a Can Do! attitude
  • Ensure teams operate in a safe and responsible manner
  • Deliver amazing customer service to existing client base that is:
    • Attentive
    • Resolution focused
    • Responsive
    • Managed from beginning to full resolution
  • Provide prompt and consistent communication between the office and clients
  • Lift, move, and otherwise maneuver physical objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; stand, sit, walk, climb or balance
  • Troubleshoot problems, sell and suggest products and services

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a management related discipline
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative, team-based environment
  • Self-driven, organized with a high level of personal accountability
  • Desire to work with small, family run and operated businesses
  • Intermediate PC skills (Microsoft Excel & Word)
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written)
  • Superior attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Quick learner with a keen interest in developing operational management skills
  • Must have a service focused approach and enjoy dealing with the public face to face
  • Experience in any of the following areas an asset:
    • A previous oversight role
    • A high pressure environment
    • A retail store
    • Humour

This co-op position is for 40 hours a week for 16 weeks starting in mid-April.
